As most of you guys, I too love to travel around the world and discover new strategies for inclusion and diversity. Lately I was in Oslo which is a part of ICC (Intercultural cities programme under Council of Europe. ICC supports cities in reviewing their policies through an intercultural lens and developing comprehensive intercultural strategies to help them manage diversity positively and realise the diversity advantage.

Oslo too works with the acknowledgment that diversity and inclusion is a resource for the society.

What I like most about Oslo is that they have developed the ‘Oslo barometer for an inclusive city’ This is a methodology developed by the faculty of political science in Oslo and Oslo city. And they are trying to use the so called ‘SoImpact’-methodology, by which they are measuring the result of the inclusive strategy and diversity in society.

If you too travel to Oslo, forget not to visit The Oslo Opera House.
